Well in Garreth.

Are you sure they are Bolton supporters?

So he has, my mistake, delete that bit now.

I've got nothing against the fans themselves, just hate their team and manager, and to be fair to them they were quite witty with their responses, especially that Anelka one I quoted in my previous post!

OK, I have an irrational hatred of Bolton. Just one of those things I guess. I despise their brand of football, the Wimbledon of the 2000's, elbows everywhere, timewasting left right and centre and taking gamesmanship to the extreme. I despise their fat headed, ignorant, bung taking twat of a manager. I despise their crappy retail park flat pack stadium and I despise the collective attitude of their soccer am loving fans inside the stadium. Bolton, to me symbolise almost everything that's wrong with the modern game of football. The 'bellends' comment was a touch OTT I admit and obviously not all fans of the Wanderers are as ignorant as the ones who replied in the SK piece. Sorry, just the way I feel. Judging by some other replies on the thread though I'm clearly not alone.

Mate of mine is a Bolton supporter. He's a level headed, intelligent family man, who has a wide general knowledge of the game. I value his friendship and we have had many a laugh together over the years.

When Liverpool play Bolton we don't phone each other for a week before the game and whichever team wins. no comment on the game will be passed.

Funny old game innit?

Me too. I would go the game so much more if we hadn't abandoned Burnden for that shithole in Horwich. As I said earlier, don't be sorry for your opinions, but don't expect me to sit by and let you spout unchallenged shite about bung-taking and all Bolton fans either.

Thanks for taking the time to answer on here though.

There's more evidence to suggest Michael Shields tried to kill a Bulgarian waiter than that Sam Allardyce takes bungs.  Were those of you saying that Allardyce takes bungs there holding up the "Free Michael" cards in the Kop?

On a wider note Spyin' Kop is a good feature but if all it gets is replies such as in this thread I doubt fans of other teams considering doing it will be so keen to volunteer their time in future?

FAO Motley crew unfortunate enough to know Col - probably see you Monday.

PS We should have a stadium-wide chant with the theme of, "Fuck off Sky, it's too early and I'm hungover."  Preferably instead of You'll Never Walk Alone.

I'm at home ill at the moment and the only 'plus' point from my perspective is that I'll be missing the Bolton game.  Each season there are games you look forward to (regardless of recent results) and likewise games that the mere thought of bore the living daylights out of you, for me Bolton is the least attractive fixture of our whole season.

I'm not going to be overly critical of Allardyce, horses for courses and all that but thank god it’s only twice a season.

Garreth cheers for putting this one together and thanks again from Rawk to the members of thewanderer for their participation.

On a general note to all members. Spyin Kop depends on the co-operation of other fans who are willing to give their views. You're welcome to disagree with them and express your opinion but that doesn't extend to insulting them or failing to show them a basic level of respect. It doesn't have to be a love-in but there's an obvious difference between banter and abuse and some of the comments I've just deleted go far beyond what is acceptable.

This is not the first time this has happened and not the first time the warning has been given. Please cut it out.

I can see why Allardyce is one of the most infuriating c*nts in the Prem, but I don't mind him. I think he's done an unbelievable job at Bolton and, for the majority of the games I've see you in this season, I've had nothing but respect for how effective your 'boring' tactics were. Bolton are actually reasonably entertaining now they have Anelka - he's given you a different dimension.

A side labelled boring, lacked a tiny bit of end product and then get Anelka to solve their problems. Reminds me of what we should have fucking done.

Lots of censorship goin' on again.

Deep breath.

If you can't display basic good manners then don't post your opinions on Spyin Kop articles. Simple as that. If you want to moan about your ill advised comments being deleted do it on the feedback thread where I'll (politely) tell you to go fuck yourself.

I don't know how to make it any simpler. We invite people from other sites to give up their time to write these articles. They do so and then some of you think you're entitled to insult them. When you do that you reflect badly on this site and the majority of the members who understand that good manners precludes asking someone for help then spitting in their face.
