62' A quick counter from Liverpool, Firmino finds Coutinho who rounds Hart and taps it in. The travelling Kop's eruptions are curtailed by the offside flag though. The two Brazilians are building up a great understanding.

66' Coutinho is down. Replays show him holding his left hamstring and he's coming off. Ibe to replace him.

70' Ibe shows some quality down the left. His cross is cleared for a corner. Moreno takes it, the ball is knocked around in the air a little but drops to Firmino who can only get a little touch on it into Hart's shins. City clear. Liverpool coming back into this now.

85' Mignolet parries a long range strike from Delph. De Bruyne crosses for Sterling who completely misses it. Corner to City, cleared by Liverpool. Several times, as the ball is headed back and fore out of the Liverpool box.

Those 4 minutes pass without incident. Liverpool wrap up a comprehensive victory at the Emptyhad with the only concern being to Coutinho's hamstring. My man of the match today? Roberto Firmino but a special mention to Dejan Lovren who had an excellent, commanding day in the centre of defence for the Reds. Deliberations and celebrations over in the post match thread. Liverpool move up to 9th, Leicester are top of the table...8 points ahead.
