Shopmobility - Liverpool one.
« on: December 6, 2010, 02:30:27 pm »
Ok guys and galls. Get ready to piss yourselves laughing.

I was supposed to do the Santa Dash on sunday, but unfortunately, whilst coming home from the pub on Friday night I had a bit of an accident.

Whilst coming home in the snow, I jumped off a small wall about 4-5 feet high.

What I thought was even ground, was uneven ground, hidden by the snow,   and as I landed, my left ankle went left, and my right ankle went right.

Nothing broken, fortunately. But I have two ankles which are twice as wide as they were before, and black and blue.

Anyway. To cut a long story short, because there were nine of us doing the santa dash, I didn't want to be left out, so sought another solution.

I found the answer at  Shopmobility, on the third floor of the Liverpool One car park, next to the parking attendants office.

Yep. Thats right!   I have no shame.  And decided to complete the santa dash on a tasty looking three wheeled chariot!

See attached photo for all of your amusement  ;D

Anyway. The point of this post is to say a big thank you to all of the staff at Shopmobility, and also the parking staff in the Q-park, for all of their assistance.

I would also like to give Shopmobility a little bit of a plug.

If any of you have elderly relatives, or are not too steady on your feet yourselves, they run a fantastic service from their office on the third floor of the car park (second floor of Liverpool One shopping complex).

To hire out a mobility scooter is a fantastic £5.00 old English pounds per day.  If you want to keep it overnight, that is an extra £3.50 a night.
They can be contacted on 0151 707 0877.

So if you need to take a relative around the shops in town, this festive season,  It's a brilliant service for getting around.

All in all, I must say what a fantastic service they provide, at what is quite a reasonable price, for anyone who has mobility problems, or is too fooking stupid to get home from the pub at night, without trying to be a stuntman. 8)

Enjoy.

Don't laugh too hard.  It's Crimble party season, and it could be you next.

Remember people ........... Let's be carefull out there!................ Lets roll !

Haha, well in mate.

Why , exactly , were you jumping of a wall ?  ;D

Before you criticise a man, walk a mile in his shoes. Then, when you do criticise him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes.
