It was a cartoon. So far you've picked two live action shows.

Puppet show is classed as a cartoon no?

Mask was ace as well.

Great theme.

A man of great taste  ;)  The theme tune is one of my favourite ever. So 80's with vector graphics, flying cars, lasers, and of course a robot sidekick. Always loved the name Miles Mayhem too. I used to own a few of the toys as well!

One of my favourite episodes was when they introduced Boris Bushkin aka Bulldog -

It is a great theme but Mask's problem was that it was always trying to introduce too many characters too quickly - to sell more toys I'm guessing - so you never knew who half the people on that team were.

Yeah, it was definitely all a bit confused. Probably why the TV show got canned in the end. I still fucking loved it though. Flying motorbikes, cars that turned into speedboats, lasers, and Masks that did cool random shit. It was enough for me  :D

I had one of these:

Ha nice pick, I watched this.

Was a very random and odd programme but weirdly entertaining.

The Crystal Maze parody was great:

I never got Teletubbies.

Found it dull, annoying and just when you thought the show was finished so you could watch something you liked, they decide to repeat the whole thing again.

Mongoose picked well.

I'm pretty sure most people haven't read the rules  :D  In theory, pre-80s cartoons aren't allowed. BUT I let Batfink through as he was pretty awesome, so let's just say the 'golden age of animation' is banned. i.e. None of the obvious classics from Warner Bros, Hanna Barbara, Disney etc.

I'm inclined to take it easy on people as it's Friday night, but equally I don't want to kill the momentum of the draft. So I'll PM El Lobo. Rysoph would only miss a few picks anyway.

Bucky O'Hare was awesome. Quite hoped he'd last a bit longer. Not such a fan of Johnny Bravo though. Just found it all a bit dull, which I know most would disagree with!

We're past picking hours. Rysoph has until 11am tomorrow morning. If Samie's about he should probably leave his pick with someone as I know he doesn't like early mornings!

Lastrador - Ducktales, Knights of the Zodiac, Beakman's World
El Lobo - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Bucky O'Hare, Johnny Bravo,
Rysoph76 - Batfink, 2 picks to make has until 11am UK time.
Samie - Transformers, Doug,
red mongoose - Battle of the Planets, The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show,
Tubby - Thundercats, Inspector Gadget
JSteve - Sonic the Hedgehog, Teletubbies
Lawnmowerman - He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Once Upon a Time.
Betty - Ulysses 31, M.A.S.K.
Chakan - X-Men, Bravestarr,
Titi Camara - The Mysterious Cities of Gold, Visionaries,
Hazell - Fraggle Rock, Maid Marian and her merry men
Wool - Batman: The Animated Series, Dexter's Lab,
Nessy76 - Dogtanian, Dungeons & Dragons,
4 - Recess, SpongeBob Squarepants,
Vishwa Atwa - Voltron: Defender of the universe, The Adventures of Tintin,
Klippity Klopp - The Raccoons, Gummi Bears,
Crimson Tank - GI Joe, Legends of the Hidden Temple,
Sheer Magnetism - Rugrats, Justice League: Unlimited,

Just a reminder that the title of this draft is Awesome Cartoons Draft (80's, 90s, 00's)! We've had a couple of picks from the 60s already, so let's just say that everyone is allowed one pick pre-80s if they wish. But the Golden Age of Animation and obvious classics from Warner Bros, Disney, and Hanna Barbara are all ruled out. Nothing against those eras, I just thought it would be more fun to focus on a tighter period which most of us grew up in.

In my defense, it didn't say anything about time period in the rules ... it was only all across all the thread titles and whatnot  :P ;D :wave

Except this bit in the selection thread "80-00's cartoons only..."  ;D  Nae bother anyway. Rysolph picked Batfink and by the time I noticed he was offline, so one pre-80s pick each is cool with me.

I bet this backfires and you both go and take my picks now  :D  :-X

;D I doubt it happens, but it would be kind of funny  :P

EDIT: ... and it's troubling that I seem to be losing reading comprehension in my old age. Fuck's sake, it's not like your rules were that complicated.
