Kinda stupid question but has Comolli been there at all? He was there when Henderson signed (presumably since Kenny was on holiday), with Johnson's signing and then first day of training but no he's nowhere to be seen or heard.

Not that it matters much, just wondering

Adam looks likes he's bricking it a bit. ;D

He looks quite short though? Kenny's not that tall, and Adam is hardly taller than him.

Multiple sources say 6ft 1in. Maybe it's just the angle of those photos? Dunno.

Gerrard/Meireles Aquilani/Adam
Lucas/Spearing

* Henderson will play RW and only play CM if needed.
** AA/Raul agree to rotation.

Alright lads, just heard through the grapevine that Charlie Adam is having a medical today and it's a done deal.

Seriously though, my twitter feed was hilarious. Lots of Mata and Adam talk, lots of journos talking about the NOTW, then the official LFC feed with one tiny tweet: "Liverpool agree Adam deal"... followed by a lot of ass covering. The Liverpool Way is back.
'Despite their  cup pedigree - since they've returned to the top flight in 1962 - Everton have, after today's results, once again gone further in the FA Cup than their much vaunted neighbours. For the record it's Everton 23 Liverpool 22  and 7 ties in 52 seasons'

I had 203 in the "How many pages will the transfer thread get to before he signs sweepstakes."

It ended at 223, so I guess I'm not much of a prognosticator.

Will help improve the overall strength & depth of the squad, though I am still not sure if there is more to his game then his frees & corners.

He will need to contribute more in general play then he did at Blackpool if he is to succeed here.

Fordy's coming!

Anyway I do agree with you, I'm not convinced he's gonna do a better job than Meireles or Aquilani would, but Kenny does so I'm happy enough.

                    Reina

Johnson - Agger - Carragher - LeftBackTBA

Kuyt - Adam - Gerrard - LeftWingTBA

           Suarez - Carroll

I have a feeling that Kenny is going to put Gerrard in central-midfield, in front of the defence, like he did with Ronnie Whelan.

Not sure if some of these lads actually watched him dictate their games last year. His free kicks and corners are massive bonuses, but his all round game is very tidy.

I think the only formation we will have is without the ball.  4 5 1 with luis tcked in. When attacking it will be all interchanging moving the ball quickly.

I am not worried about that at all. Although it will for sure take probably a couple of month for the manager and coaches to make the pass and move machine run smoothly allthrough the squad I am sure we will be more than ready from day one.

Aquilani and Insua staying, Mata, Aguero and a CB and we will be fine. Absolutely fine.
One thing does need to be said: in the post-Benitez era, there was media-led clamour (but also some politicking going on at the club) to make the club more English; the idea being that the club had lost the very essence of what it means to be ‘Liverpool’. Guillem Ballague 18/11/10

I think this is quite harsh on Adam. A lot of what Blackpool did (open play and set piece play) went through him.

I think he'll fit in well. It's a step up (or maybe a few steps up) for him, but he appears to have the ability to succeed.
