He was also complainin' about the Ref not punishin' Williams for holdin' Terry in the box but up the other end when the Ref had a word he still wasn't happy. "Ref havin' a word but allowin' all sorts to go on at the other end"

He really is the most biased commentator around. I'll probably mute the tv in the second half before I hear him chat absolute shit again.

I don't think its negative, rather none of Milner, Lampard or Barry are being a runner to support the front 3.

The midfield 3 whilst compact are very bland with their range of passing and support play.

Excellent news that, causing Stoke danger from set pieces is always nice.

Milner

Think the real problem is we're only playing with 10 men. Nah, just looked like a weird set up. The goal give us a bit of confidence but I'd switch to a more traditional formation. Wales have got nothing other than Dr Zaius

Fletcher misses a pen, he he

The midfield 3 whilst compact are very bland with their range of passing and support play.

Also, none of the 3 are capable of carrying the ball past Wales' midfield and into the space. Lampard is fine at running into space off the ball, but that relies on being surrounded by players with the ability to find him quickly in that space. Barry's mind works too slowly for that, and Milner simply isn't capable of it. Its one of the reasons Wilshere will be hugely important for England, he can play incisive one-twos, or he can drop his shoulder and carry the ball with him

Ingurland will win this game easily. But it won't be due to tactical genuis. More Individual brilliance. The first goal was proof. Downing tricked his marker and pulled it back to Young (Who was not expecting this) to convert it. Englands football is farrrr to slow for what they are trying to do. Wales are given the time and space to pullback and realign there backline. Englands first touch football seems to be somewhat slow and unintelligent. They aren't quick enough to pick out the next pass and if are they its usually one that could to have been someone much more dangerous. They appear to lack the confidence to play one touches into Rooney who's being marked because he'll loose when he wont. As much as I hate shrek he's got the ability to move up from one-touches and does this particuarly well for Yernited.Hes also been making intelligent runs somewhat for Ingurland which alot of his teamsmates have failed to realise. These flaws may not be too troubling now,but when they face opposition such as Spain,Italy,France and Germany they'll be exploited on these moves and their time taken in midfield by unsure and unwilling midfielders will be hooked by faster teams such as Spain.

Been midly impressed with Downing, think he plays much better with Pool though.
My Grammar is shit. I no it and you no it.
They're Stoke. They throw sticks at aeroplanes there

We should have bought A.Young from Watford instead of Babel...
And we should have bought A.Young from Villa instead of Henderson with the same amount of money.
When defenders facing Young or Henderson, who do you think they are scared more?
Henderson might have more potential or a more all-round player, but for us, we need instant impact imo.
Bottom line is,  KK and DC know football much better than me, time for me to shut up.  :>

My brain was ticking along the same thoughts, whether the media jump on the band wagon and hail Wilshere as the next english saviour when approaching next summer will be interesting, make no bones about it though irrespective of his age - his style of play and very few english alternatives who can provide that role makes him very important to England if they ever want to do 'well' at Euro 2012.
