kind of hate the 12:30pm kicks - even if it is on NBC and thus exposes more people to Liverpool.

I prefer the 12:30 (11:30 for me) kickoffs to the 6:30 AM kickoffs at least. Would rather have a beer and sandwich in my hand than a coffee!
You cannot call overseas Liverpool supporters glory hunters. We’ve won one trophy this decade. If they’re glory hunters, they’re really bad ones. They’re actually journey hunters. It’s the journey and the story. Something about Liverpool has grabbed them." - Neil Atkinson (May, 2019)

What happened?

Basically, NBCSN ( Rebecca Lowe) goes to Neil to do a recap of what is in the papers.

He shows the S*N and talks about their head story. He also shows a couple other papers.

As Neil works for The S*N , they'll always get their paper headline shown.

That's what I saw this past weekend.

Exactly this. Every week. On the whole I feel NBC approach premier league coverage much better than fox, but here they are everywhere week with this fucking guy, I just can't understand it. I wrote in asking their segment Neil reads some NEWSPAPERZ and all mention of that pile of misery and douchefuckery end, for reasons that I did not feel the need to explain overly. I mean, it's the fucking S*n. Let alone knowing anything about the audience, it's such an easy miss: as NBC you could put literally anything else on.

Well, that's soured NBCSN for me. I really enjoy their coverage, but I usually only watch the match and the postgame, so I haven't seen this. Do we need to make them aware of why The S*n isn't ok, or do they know and just not give a shit?

I also watch NBC's coverage and i'm in the UK and they always get Neil because he presents a show over here called 'Sunday Supplement' which is kind of a newspaper round up, football journalist chat show. He's probably the best TV trained newspaper Journo so thats why they have him and yeah he works for The S*n so of course he'll show that rag sadly.

But as someone who watches in England i think the NBC coverage is fantastic. see all the games, the amount of ads is a little shit but its fine once you get used to it.

It means one of the "extra" channels if your cable or satellite provider offer those "extra" channels.

If you have Directv for instance we're on channel 492.

Otherwise, stream it.

Blast. Of course Comcast doesn't carry those. Will be working so was banking on a friend's DVR saving the day. Don't have any hope that the NBC sports app will have the replay up after the fact either, don't think they've had replays for at least the last 3 games of ours.

Save this for replays, usually up shortly after the match.:

I don't know enough about how US TV works, but I have Comcast/Xfinity with an X1 box and I can watch the Live Extra channels. I watched... uhh... Crystal Palace against... somebody on it recently, and it was a pain in the ass to figure out, but it worked great once I got in. Had to go through a bunch of on demand menus and it looked like an old replay, but was actually live.

It might be that your Comcast is different to mine because of your location etc., but I'm pretty confident I can watch us tomorrow on mine. It's not intuitive at all, but it is there.

Of course, AceStream is also easy...

All the Live Extra matches are shown on separate channels on Saturday's for me (on top of NBCSN).

That's with Time Warner or Spectrum or whatever they are now.

I don;t think Verizon have the overflow channels. But, if you download the NBCSN app, you'll be able to watch it on there, you'll just have to log in with your Verizon account when prompted.

Well, Comcast are taking their sweet time propagating the Extra Time links on X1. What a surprise.

If you have an NBC Sports subscription, you can watch here: http://stream.nbcsports.com/premier-league/middlesbrough-liverpool-watch-live - beats a dodgy link.
