Silicon Valley

Just downloaded the boxset off sky.

Very very good, only 4 episodes into the first season and already some brilliant laugh out loud moments.

Highly recommended

You'll be pleased to know it gets better as it progresses.
They have life in them, they have humour, they're arrogant, they're cocky and they're proud. And that's what I want my team to be.

Very, very good is a great way to describe it. I loved it and would find it hard to stop watching them. Two or three episodes at a time.

Yes, some of the scenes really stick in my mind. Such a clever show.

This guy FUCKS.

I've been binge watching this as I missed out when it started due to Peak TV.  Halfway through season 3 now. It's a very bingeable show, and the actors really work together - Richard and Erlich's rapport is obviously great due to Middleditch and Miller's stand-up work; but Dinesh and Guilfoyle are great together.

The episode where Richard quits and D & G try to back-engineer his code, only to realise that they both know the same 90% of the code:  Guilfoyle's response, rather than admiration of Richard, is 'You’re telling me Richard did all of this? Shit, I thought you did it. Now I respect you even less.'

Mind you, Silicon Valley might be a hard place to satirise, given the recent Juicero launch (a $400 WiFi-connected juicer that redefines utter uselessness

I love the dynamic between he and Dinesh. I thought he was really good in Part Down..I still can't believe it got canned.

I loved that little battle too....that was funny.

Been waiting for this. Great pair they form with Veep for our Mondays. More Dinesh and Gilfoyle is always great and its a series that even some certain character traits are repeated, I simply don't mind. Basically all the guys from the group have their moments that really stood out.

Gavin Belson was boss yesterday  ;D

His assistant is extremely funny character. Come to think about it, all characters are funny as hell, there's literally no weak point in this show. One of the best comedy shows around no doubt.
The biggest problem anywhere in the world is that people's perceptions of reality are filtered through the screening mesh of what they want, and do not want, to be true.

Jared is killing it this season.
'Did you see Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue? The cover model has the most enigmatic facial expression', and then later talking about the irony of Pied Piper leading children into darkness, or whatever it was.

I love the guys they bring back for minor parts. Matt McCoy (one of the great 'oh that guy' actors), as the lawyer reviewing their data, and then realising that his fingerprints can't be anywhere near potential kiddyporn, closing the laptop with his elbows. And the guy running the Hooli focus group is aces, going through the names: 'Who thinks the login is 'Hella lame?' 'Madison?  Amber? Kayleigh?'.
