I have purchased 2 tickets for the Swansea game 1 adult ticket on my membership and 1 over 65 on my Dad's membership (he's 73), I want to take my Brother instead of my Dad for this game.

My Brother is 52, do they actually check the age of people on the way in? if so can I upgrade the ticket to a full priced adult ticket instead and pay the difference?

Cheers.
You can upgrade the ticket by phoning up and paying the difference.

Update on the confiscated card I wrote about above;

Once the card hold called the club he was told that the card isn't with them  :butt

They just issued a new and sent it out. They also allowed him to sort a duplicate for the same mate that lost the card against Stoke.

Anyone heard anything like this before?
Blue lights at the turnstile and a missing confiscated card. Did they just lie to the card owner and lost it themselves or are the TO really this bad handling situations?

Mostly everything, I find it depends who you deal with.

I went to the TO windows this morning as our £9 City tickets haven't arrived and he gave us dupes without any fuss all dealt with within 5 minutes.

On other occasions they've been affronted that I had the audacity to approach a customer facing customer service employee to rectify my issue.

Such is life.

That's gives you some confidence that they'll keep up the good work and probably do the same thing if it's my card next time.

Apologies if this is answered elsewhere - I couldn't find it anywhere, or from the club.

In the members sale I bought 2 for Burnley in March but don't think I can go now. Am I able to return these to the club? The only return system I can see listed is for season ticket holders.

Call up the local customer hotline, may take a few tries to get through and they'll happily refund you to your card. Hope that helps.

It's a joke if that's actually sold out! I managed to get on before quarter past so unless they just said the game is sold out and might do the sale at a later date fingers crossed

Told me sold out when I got on too but quite a few seats popped up for me but they were selected by other members first. Just going to have to keep refreshing and hope something pops up.

Why is it a joke mate? I'm guessing this is one of your first attempts at buying tickets this way?

The sale begins at 8.15am. You are in no way guaranteed to either a. buy a ticket, or b. get onto the website at this time.
There won't have been that many tickets available at 8.15am. Say 500 for example.
There will damn sure have been more than 500 people, on multiple devices and browsers trying to buy these tickets.
I know people on here who use 6/7 devices, and use different browsers on each device. Essentially, you're competing with say, 4000 people, with on average of 3 devices/browsers. So that 4000 people becomes 12-16000. All for 500 tickets.
The site can only let a certain amount of people on at any one time, I think I seen somewhere ages ago it's about 750 people.

Especially when we are looking like challenging for the title, the johnny come latelys who haven't been in years all of a sudden absolutely need a ticket as they're the best fans ever and must be at Anfield to cheer on their heroes.

If you weren't succesful, you just need to keep checking randomly. It says sold out at the minute, but the fact that the game is still on the sales page normally means there will be more tickets at some point. The problem here is it really is just sporadiic when they go up. No notice, and sometimes only 1 or 2.

Most likely! I've kept the page open in Case they follow that up with another error and release return tickets by accident!!

Should be, night games in January aren't usually popular specially with the home leg of the semi the week before.

It was on to 2+ previously and it had a couple of tickets floating for ages

There can't be many people on 2+ who haven't bought already and can go the game surely

I suspect it'll reach 1+

Can't see there being that many if there's a chance we could go top, on the date of the sale.  Haven't looked at the sale date mind.

Edit - didn't make sense that.

I mean that on the date of the ticket sale, if there's a chance we can still go top when we get around to playing the match I can't see there being many returns.  Still doesn't make that much sense, I know what I mean though.

yep and still do. you're right. if we lose to utd then there will be more corp tickets returned i suspect. if we beat them then there wont be likely many more returned at all.

Either way it will sell out on 1+ game

If it's down to 2 points then I think there wont be many at all and it'll sell out on 2+.  I think it'd sell out on 4+ if there was a sale.

Otherwise I agree.  8 point or 7 point difference then dead easy for 1+, maybe even all members.

4 or 5 point difference, easy for 2+ and sell out on 1+.
