Won't be a bad idea if Rodger's appoints him as his defence coach as well

Defo going to get to some games around Scotland this season, be nice to see that crazy smile on the pitch again. A really good move for both Kolo and Celtic, sound judgement from the old gaffer getting him on board and the pace of the game up here will suit him. Plus a bit of CL footy makes it that bit sweeter. Good luck Uncle Kolo, we miss you!!

For god sake.

Dunno what's for god sake about it - he was a man mountain in that final, stood out a country mile, and I would say was consistently at or near our best defender whenever he played. Just get a bit fed up with all the "good old Kolo", "great fourth choice", "good move for him and us" stuff - doesn't recognise how good he was/is.

Don't care even he turned 35 in March - I wouldn't say Kolo slowed down at all during the two years he was with us.

That's what he was though, a good third/fourth choice. There's no way he should be starting here over Lovren/Sakho/Matip.
Happy to see him go to Celtic anyway, hope he does well, don't think it's a massive loss on the pitch though.

All the best. Always felt that he gave it his best. But he was simply a bit one-dimensional when it comes to defending. Which is good. He was solid without being exceptionally great. People remember his mistakes easily - I've no idea why. Other defenders (even within our team) are as prone to mistakes as he is but outside our fans, Kolo always seems to take the brunt of the ridicule. Good luck Kolo.
