The UEFA ballot for neutral tickets has been and gone mate.

The club ballot for fans on 7 credits? Depends on how many people on 7 credits are going to register their interest for the ballot, and possibly also how many PRHs and lads with 8+ credits etc are going to buy tickets too (IF they roll over into the ballot allocation).

It'll be interesting to know how many people are on 7 credits - and also how many tickets were available to them - hopefully we'll find out sometime on Tuesday mate.

A time machine would be great about now

For the carling cup they announced the % that missed out in the ballot.

But can't see that happening this time as mostly probably will miss out.

I'm hoping that same, however 20k sounds like a fair number for finger in the air math.

If she is successful then she'll get a ticket and if you aren't you won't get a ticket

Looks like Sevilla are only taking 7000 tickets and are subsidising their fans trip to the final.  Hopefully that will give us another 3000 but who knows.

Edit:  Looks like they are subsidising travel by 200 Euros!

This actually proves why UEFA are right to have the ballot.

Morally Im not saying its right but they have a European final and have to sell 35-40k tickets apart from the English and the Germans no one else will travel to the Europa final in big numbers.

So do UEFA hope that a club with big travelling support gets to the final - [probably 1 in 5/7 years or do they do the ballot before Quarters when loads of teams are still in  and therefore have the demand to help sell out the tickets.

There is no way they would be able to sell the tickets to the neutrals at the last minute (after the semi finals) as travel and accomadation costs will make the experience unfeasable for the neutral.

The only way around this is to get all teams in the tournament to underwrite the purchase of 20,000 tickets for the final if they get there which is just not going to happen.

or do they go back to the old days of a 2 legged final which kinda spoils the final experience

Good point. If it was just the finalists fans then most years you could hold it at Prenton Park.

think about all the ST holders too that will have been on ACS...  so couple them with the members that are on ACS, bound to be around 10k I imagine.
