What is seriously going on?

He seems to end up being favourite for every available job in the PL, and by the end he drops out of contention.

He has joined that circle of mediocre bad managers that will always linked with any job available in the PL.
Messi in fact doesn't have a recognizable trait.

Comes across as having all of Brian Clough's arrogance and self assuredness but none of his managerial ability.

Is this guy the second coming of Arrigo sacchi,is he a coaching genius of some sort, even without the coaching badges or necessary credentials.

In demand and such a clamour for clubs to have him as their manager.

F.A will choose him as the next manager of England.

Alan Curbishley has finally been replaced. Sherwood will eventually get one of these jobs and he'll fail miserably in it and then it'll all repeat...

We seem to keep hearing that he holds talks with clubs, but they break down...

It's always assumed (or leaked by Sherwood) that Sherwood decided he didn't want the job or "wasn't given assurances" etc. However, it could be that the club in question thought he was a talentless bellend and decided not to pursue the matter further after spending 2 hours in his company...

It could be that he hasn't actually taken the Pro Licence yet and despite interest in him and from him, when it gets down to the details, maybe he didn't actually attend the course he was supposed to attend after all.

At this point I expect Randy Lerner to wait until they've been relegated, come out onto the pitch, and take off his suit to reveal a full Birmingham City tracksuit and give an interview to the press talking about how he's been a massive Blues fan since his early childhood and only took over Villa in order to destroy them.

A manager with very little experience for a club in villa's position?

He might save them this year I reckon only because of the new manager effect, and only because Villa actually do have some decent players who are under performing. But fully expect him to get sacked next year.

And doesn't think he needs to actually learn to be a coach first, Pro licenses are for the weak don't you know? He's much better than that. He's a player. A geezer. The man who can and will. They'll win because football is a simple game that everyone else over complicates. Just tell the boys to have passion and attack, and they'll win.

In every industry and field unfortunately. Luckily in football, talent usually tells in the end and you can't bullshit away the results.

Still, great to have him back. With Van Gaal channeling Moyes and Sherwood back on the sidelines, all the hilarity of last season is back....
