I'm just glad that this has been sorted out. Adios, Luis, and good luck with Barcelona! We'll miss you, but we'll move on and savour the memories of your time as a Liverpool player. Thank you for helping us get back into the Champions League, for that alone we are grateful.

Feels pretty amicable, which is nice.

Think we all got to the point where we did need to move on, reluctantly. The time bomb of doing something daft in a Liverpool shirt had to be the defining factor in the decision to let him go.

Thanks to him for all of the great moments and memories we experienced with him in the side

Last season was amazing and although we didn't manage to win the league, it was so incredible to experience the real belief across the fanbase that we could do it and see us really establishing ourselves as a challenger in the league.

Fans of other clubs will continuously downplay our achievements last season but when you step back and look at the comments on our football and our season from around the world, no one can deny that we made an impact on world football last season.

Regardless of the bad points about Luis, he was a part of that season and he was a part of the team that got us all believing again, i'll forever be thankful to him for that

Sad day. Great Talent. Will be missed.

But we look to the future. We move on. Use the money to build a squad which can challenge on all fronts. We were never reliant on Suarez last season. Last season was a team performance, we coped without many players. We have a bright future. Think Atletico Madrid. Lost Falcao and carried on forward.

We are an unstoppable runaway train. No matter who gets off, we'll still keep rolling on forward..

Luis was fantastic for us, possibly the most talented player to ever wear the mighty red.

I guess I wish him luck, the psychotic little bastard. He was always entertaining, you have to give him that. Some astonishing football, always put a smile on my face seeing him on the pitch, but at other times I was embarrassed he was associated with the club. Of all the potential destinations for him, Barca is the one I'm most OK with. Seeing him link up with Messi should be something else, hopefully. Onwards and upwards for Liverpool, we still have a very good attacking team.

Even though it was an inevitability, still feels like a kick in the nuts when you know it is official. I suspected when the new contract was signed, he would be off. Don't think his WC antics had anything to do with it.

You could argue that Barca fans don't even love Messi like we love Suarez. It's true, he's never going to be idolised like that again at a club level. I'm certainly not bitter, I'll always hope he does well and when Barca are playing, I'll have to switch on and watch just to see what he does next because Suarez is a player worth watching. Undoubtedly the most magical player I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing turn out for our club - never seen anyone with that combination of technique and an absolute savage desire to win before. Came to terms with him leaving as soon as the bite happened, so can't say I'm upset or sad or angry about it all. I'd be much more worried if Brendan was to leave us, to be honest. Great players have left us before, we move on.

Having said that, I'll certainly miss seeing the mad little bastard in a Liverpool shirt.

He has always wanted a move to Spain. Not only is it the big move for South Americans, it is also where is wifes family have lived for years, and the reason he came to Europe in the first place.
