Think we'll catch a few teams cold and given that we didn't do too badly away at those teams last season (Burnley excepted), I see no reason why we shouldn't do as good, if not better, than when we had a less coherent team and a different manager who was coming to the end of his tenure in some of those games. Ok, so Conte will make Stamford Bridge a tricky place again, but we can quite confidently expect to get a point there. Arsenal are probably dreading Sunday more than we are, given their defensive crisis at present. They should be there for the taking, but then we didn't do too badly last year when we had a defensive crisis, so we may encounter a bit of a siege mentality from them. Leicester may be unpredictable, and the loss of Kante should not be underestimated, but I think we'll want to make a statement of intent against them. Spurs, as always, will be hard to judge, but we've got a good recent record against them so I'm confident we can take the points off them in style.
The next 5 games are not the ones I'm overly concerned about; it's the following 5 I'm casting a wary glance at. If we get off to a storming start, we take a head of steam into them 2013/14 style. If it's less than perfect, or even verging on disastrous territory, then I see the usual banana skins of Pulis, Palace and fucking Hull rearing their heads. Shitcoat will no doubt want to bring his special blend of c*ntishness to the fore as well, although by then I'd imagine his collection of individuals will be falling apart at the seams so it might be a good time to thrash them.
Anyway, the footy's back, Jurgen's in charge, get fucking in.
