Writing this a few minutes before full time. That was a shower of utter shit, wasn't it? Not only do we lose, we won't have Coutinho for the United match. Saying that, though, it is early on in the season and the knives should not be out for Rodgers. I know we'll get a load of people posting in this thread who almost never post unless they have something negative to say about the team, but we're a few games into the season. Losing to a West Ham who knew how to beat us is annoying as fuck, but it's one game out of 38 - just look at the table and see where some of the teams are. Chelsea are close to the relegation zone, Leicester are in the top four, and Chelsea lost to Palace at home today. At home.

So my advice is, fuck this game and go do something other than whine on here, it just wasn't our day and it wasn't our day in a big way. I know I'm being Canute here, but fuck it.

Reality check.

The celebrations over our amazing nil nil draw against Arsenal look rather silly now. Looking back in hindsight that was a par result considering they have not scored in 5 of their last 6 home games, and lost to both Swansea and West Ham.

Stoke we were poor and scored a lucky worldie. Should have lost to Bournemouth considering the ref decisions.

Same old, same old. Not much has changed except for the ultra defensive tactics which have some confused to some greater change to our defensive quality under Rodgers. We opened up today for a home game and the defence got horribly exposed for what it is.

Very easy to ignore performance when you get decent results but in truth we've only had 1 good half out of 8 halves played this season so far. 1 legit goal scored in 4 games is a terrible form.

Really disappointing to lose to them at Anfield for the first time since 63, but going to the Mancs without Coutinho makes things even worst.

And to the reds leaving after 80 minutes:

Basically they missed the last 17 minutes of the game... Stadium was empty with a few minutes to go.
