It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

I have £3000 in my bank account. What shoes would you recommend with that?

Hass may be a tad extreme. But, I think his input is in general a welcome break from the repetitive nature of the trainer thread and at times he is right, the majority of trainers that get posted on there are boring as fuck.

Dear Hass.

I have £3000 in my bank account. What shoes would you recommend with that?

Cheers

Well, at least with Hass you know the answer wont be' "sixty pair of gazelles and sambas BUT, in different colours".

I was going to post a user thread myself. It was going to be "What is the average time it takes Phil M to find a post about The Wire?"

My bet was about 30 minutes. 10, if the post suggests The Wire is shit.

currently really feeling this summers visvim.  again.  killer hoody costs the price of a medium sized house but my god the detailing:

This classic, hooded sweater is made of Egyptian Giza cotton; renowned as perhaps the finest cotton in the world; a carefully selected material that makes this garment special as it is soft and highly absorbent to moisture. This ethic is what makes Visvim's collections so special.

 - 100% Egyptian Giza cotton
- Visvim logo on left front
- Visvim logo on left rear
- riri zip on front
- front pockets
- natural leather front zip puller
- Visvim leather label at hood

motorcycle jackets are having another go this season though they'd need to go a way to top the to-ki-to barbour i picked up last autumn.  still visvim leading from the front with this fire proof beauty.

Named after legendary motorcyclist Burt Monro, Visvim have produced yet another truly excellent jacket. This subtle and elegant piece - which due to its fabric mix is fireproof - is perfect for summer evenings. It can be worn unzipped over a cardigan or a T-shirt. The Visvim buttons at the top and bottom of the jacket fasten to conceal the zip.

- 50% polyamide, 50% polyester
- zipped chest pocket
- side pockets
- buttons at neck and bottom of body
- vertical pleating on left side of body
- Visvim woven label at pocket

one more before i head off to our shoot.  these are stupid expensive but strangely beguiling again from the mighty house of visvim.  made of elk skin they are none more comfortable though gloriously impractical - strictly house wear only.

The Maliseet or Wolastoqiyik are a Wabanaki Native American/First Nations/Aboriginal people who are the Indigenous peoples of the Saint John River valley and its tributaries, between New Brunswick, Quebec, and Maine. The Maliseet Elk Folk moccasin from Visvim will win you over once you put it on - ultra soft elk leather, natural crepe sole, cork footbed...

- 100% natural pigment-free elk leather upper
- linerless
- natural cork footbed
- chemical-free crepe outsole
- half-welt insert for heel support and toe flexibility
- TPU heel stabilizer
- Native American Indian inspired heel detailing
- pearl detailing
