The opening question of do you want Rafa as manager yes or no, is a bit definative. Like Jason King said earlier there is a bit of grey area and plaenty of people who probably arent really too sure right now

True, and I did consider including an 'undecided' option, but it's simpler this way. Most people have an inclination one way or the other, but even if they feel undecided, they usually have a gut feeling which they can go with. If someone is sitting on the fence completely though, it would probably be best for them not to take the survey - however I feel this is an extremely rare case.

Your survey insists that those unhappy with rafa must have a replacement in mind so it is flawed in principle.

Flawed? The only reason to sack a manager is if you have someone in mind who can do the job better. It is flawed if this question wasn't there!

I think it would have been important to fine tune residency to the Liverpool area (10-20 miles), UK & other.

Those results might shock some of our readership.

It may also be a decent idea to include a section on those who attend matches.

Will have to be done carefully as not to get into an Uber-Scouse/OOT mess!

What year did you become a Liverpool supporter - everyone I know became one sometime during there early years but how can someone specify exactly what age?

I just guessed that I was about 4, it may be earlier but I know that by then I could list all the players and their positions if my brother ordered me to. ;D
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

This is flawed by the fact people can comment on it here.

There are numerous reasons why this is flawed.

Still hope the pro-Rafa side wins though.

^^^^^

that alone could influence some yes/no people to vote for/against.

The only 'poll' I go for is that of the vocal vote of the Kop. Which, to my mind, is still firmly supporting our manager.

I don't think it's really about any side winning. It's just so that we can get a breakdown of whether someone is more likely to lean one way due to their age and location. The results should be interesting, even if they're nowhere near definitive and there are certain flaws in the vote.

the survey isnt flawed  if people make the survey before reading this thread, also even then I dont think  it should skew the results, perhaps some may have the feeling that they are not a real fan if they dont support rafa?

I dont see what will come out of this poll, the results are clearly leaning towards more  older, really loyal fans supporting rafa more,  however it may mean they are too emotionally involved to see things obejectively( this is my opinion and how I explain rafa support) or it may mean newer fans are idiots, I think the poll should have included more questions, I study sociology and know a thing or two about polling ;).

Gratiude for what he has done shown after he is gone is fine.

Posts like this are more like handing him his coat than showing him support.

If you don't see the difference, I can't be arsed explaining it.
