Can't be any worse than my Man City bet yesterday. :)

... or backing Grays.

I'm on Nadal as well. I've just topped up at 8/13 as well.

Though this second set has done little to cheer me up.

I'm hoping this challenge will pay for Moscow, so I will more than likely pull out when I get around £600.

Depending on how confident I feel at the time I might pull out sooner, or even carry on for a bit longer.

Get me a ticket and I will pay for Moscow for ya ;)

I've got to the £800 - £1200 mark in a day on this challenge but let greed and the want to increase the cash to over £1500  get the better of me. Best of luck with it.... I'm going to wait until Roland Garros now before I do it again probably....

Yeah, he'll win.
So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

Fuckin' Murray.

40-0 on his own serve and gets broken to lose the set.

I know what's about to happen here ...

Ancic despite making no impression on Murray's serve for the whole of the 2nd set, will break when Murray's serving to stay in the match.

I can almost feel it.

5. 308.73 on Nadal to beat Davy at 1.19

Right, got 367.39 after all that so am going to bank my stake just to be safe and go as far as possible with £267.39, cant lose nothing now so it's worth it but a bit risky as you never know if people this week are going to tank for Rome

6. £267.39 on Nicolas Almagro to beat Volandri at 1.41. Almagro has already beaten Volandri twice on clay this season and is lightyears ahead of him, it's in his home country so im hoping theres no resting up for Rome and he beats him comfortably again. Potential return £379.81

Hi,
I have been following the tennis bets on here for a while.  Nicking a few tips along the way.  I take it by your comments that this tournie in Barcelona is not up to much and the one in Rome will be a more competitive tournament?

The one in Rome is a masters series where Federer, Djokovic, Davydenko will all be back which shows you the importance of it. Barca isn't a bad little tournie and I expect Nadal to try his hardest and win it like last year but before grand slams and masters series you do seem to get the odd very fucked up result so it's a bit more risky.

is a rule of thumb that Master Series tournaments are of a good standard?

Yeah, they're the best tournaments after the slams and the players have to turn up. They can get injuries but they cant say "I cant be bothered to play there this week" like they could with Barcelona for example. You also get more ranking points in these tournaments compared to your bog standard tournament.

Attempt A - Started at £80 as thats what I had in my account

Bet 1: £80 on Nalbandian to beat Robredo @ 1.25 = £100
Bet 2: £100 on Gasquet to beat Querrey @ 1.2 = Bet pending

Another Attempt, starting at £130.

Bet 1: £130 on Almagro to beat Volandri @1.39 in play = Bet pending

i know you people gamble properly don't set it as anything different, but from the outside to people who only bet in a couple of quid accumulators, you guys have balls of steel putting big money on a tennis match where a player could easily pull up at any point during the match

Made back some of the money I lost on Gasquet earlier thanks to Murray and Wawrinka. I will never ever bet on that twat Gasquet again.

Anyway my balance is now at £212.28 (lost £400 on Gasquet). I'm thinking for the first matches of tommorow, Ferrero and Robredo look like very good bets. Would you all agree?
