would love to see roy play Babel and Jova in the wide positions when we play away from home. If he is going to persist with a deep defence and no pressing, then we need pace and directness in the attacking areas.

Steaua have put in a few decent crosses but the safe hands of our captain Pepe have been cleaning up. Sirdu giving Kelly a bit of a raw time though. Looking dangerous

This looks alright for us so far. They will have to attack and we have Babel's pace to exploit them with.

Exactly right.

We were under pressure for the first 20 minutes, couldn't get in to the game at all, but now we've got the first goal that changes everything. We got that against the run of play, but it's completely changed their gameplan now, and we'll find space in behind the longer it stays like this.

We've picked it up a tad .... venturing into the Steaua half now more than the first few minutes (after a good 10 minutes of pure Steaua pressure)....seems our goal has given us a lot more confidence!

It's been fairly uneventful, Steaua have had most of the ball and have put in a fair number of crosses but all dealt with comfortably.

Ryan has been our best player but hasn't seen the ball for 5 minutes.

Boring game so far, nothing much happening.

Got to pick it up again, make sure we go in at half time 1 up. Steaua are getting a lot of chances to put in the ball fromthe left. Most the crosses have been poor but theres bound to be a decent one soon. Need to stop them coming in so regularly

Few points I want to make

• 1. I love this in-game thread more...finally have a place to voice my thoughts DURING the game!!
• 2. I actually didn't even realise Poulsen was on the field until 30 minutes passed - definitely not showing presence atm for me
• 3. Babel playing very well, Cole not so
• 4. Feel sorry for Pacheco - not getting much of the ball on the right hand side, and you can see him constantly calling for it but we're not going down that channel for some reason

Great tracking back from Jova and defends well.Linesman wrongly gives a corner. From ther ball is cleared and after another cross ball comes out to Steaua player who hits it about a yard wide.

They should both be part of a 4-2-3-1 not this rigid 4-4-2 but agreed, it's unfair on a young lad to be thrown in out of position. He is not a right sided midfield player.
