I really want us to win this match. Don't even care if we don't win the league after this(Maybe I do want to win it as well :)). Just don't want Manchester City to win it. Everyone prefers City over Chelsea due to Mourinho. For me, somehow it is the opposite, I just don't like Manchester City. I would love to see them not win anything more this season.

League won't be won or lost this weekend. That is all.

It can't be won but it can be lost
If we don't beat Man City it becomes very hard to finish above them - not impossible but unlikely

Had a little read of the City forums and a lot of them are saying they'd take a draw, and worrying about how their defense will handle Suarez and Sturridge. It’s some billing for this game that both us and City could potentially beat the current all-time goal scoring record of 103 by Chelsea. So there is potential that we could look back on this game and say “that’s when the two highest scoring teams in Premier League history fought it out for the title”. That’s some billing for the neutral. I just hope the game lives up to that sort of hype.

3 points for the 96 would be fitting.

I'd say If Man city beat us It's pretty much over for us.  I think this match is much more Crucial for us. Man city are hardly out of it even with a negative result.

Shababs.

The wife as been very busy with her search for enlightenment, out here in Thailand, it's been a successful trip, with new and exoctic blends of Tea. Whilst in a break from her Yoga spiritualist session's she conducted a reading of the Tea Leaves. As with any Tasseography her analysis is based on the zodiac and the pattern of the Tea leaves.

The zodiac reading are saying there will be a phenomen on the 13 April when Jupiter the Roman God of Fire, will out shadow Neptune the God of the Sea, also the Moon is in its last quarter and is declining.
In the Tea Leaves she see's a bird, which is good news and also a shamrock for a wish coming true.

The match will be played like a game of chess, with both side's trying to dominate from deep with thrusting penetrations going forward with speed and energy into a tight box, when in control of the ball a firm grip will be needed. He Who Dares Wins.

Liverpool 4 - 2 Man City.

That's how they rolled Inshaallah

We'll beat them 4-3 with a Suarez magic goal in the 90th minute.

Thereafter, Flanagan's giant erection from the goal will hit Yaya Toure in the face and he'll be out for the rest of the season.

If you got to the football page on the BBC sport web page and then navigate to tables, you'll find the league table. Alongside this table is a form guide made up of coloured symbols. Red for loss, grey for draw, green for win. There are ten of these symbols representing each team's form over the last ten games.  I want to come to work on Monday morning and see that last peskey grey symbol gone and replaced with a shiny new green one (*).

(*) Yes I appreciate it won't really be replace. That Villa draw is still a draw, but i want a full house of greens!

3-2 to us :P

Think we'd line up with :

GK- Mignolet (obviously)
Rb- Johnson, Cb- Skrtel, Sakho Lb- Flanagan
Dm- Gerrard Cm-Lucas/Allen and Hendo
Rw- Sterling, St/LF- Suarez and Sturridge to rotate.

To support a team in success is easy. But, to support a team even during bad times shows real character.

Will be interesting if for example the score is 1-1 after 70 odd mins, will Rodgers change his normal patient strategy and go for broke,  chuck a couple of extra attackers on and go 3 at the back? Possibly sacrifice the draw for the sake of a win?

God I hope it doesnt come to that.

IF BR did that I would respect him for that decision. " He who dares wins".

It would be awful to tie the game not having tried to go all out to win it and then come the end of the season to find we lost out on the title because of it. Play with NO fear and go for the win! It is a Final. We win or lose the title right here.

I want a ghost goal penalty against Chelsea, where the ball doesn't cross the line but Hawkeye still flashes goal on the refs wrist.

The penalty can be for Cahill accidentally touching Flanagans shoelace when the ball is already out of play.

If we win 4-2 as has been predicted, we'll be 7 points ahead of City, only 1 goal behind (with Norwich to play, which should tackle that little issue nicely). The Chelsea game has swung back in our favour with their champions league distraction a huge plus for us, I don't care what anyone says.

The conditions couldn't be more perfect.

Nevertheless I would hate to be in their position. Imagine how different the fixture would appear if we were going to Manchester instead.

It's our moral duty to all the PL to beat the shit out of city and Chelsea and win the league. These moneybags cnuts have to learn their lesson - IMHO we are the only team to earn the title. Our displays are majestic with a reasonable budget. We have the momentum and drive - we WILL batter these twats on both occasions and win the league !

I've just heard from RoshanA.

City are going to batter us. They have bigger, stronger players all over the pitch. Kompany will boss Sturridge and Suarez. Yaya and Silva will make Skrtel and Sakho look like Ruddock and Dicks. They've been here before with the same group of players. This is all new to our players and they wont be able to handle the pressure. This will be the game where I can finally hold my head up high and say "I fucking told you so"

The club have the power and recourses, to trace any ticket back to source.

The question is, do they want to?   Or are they scared of what they'll find, and where the tickets come from?

Wow - http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/apr/09/liverpool-manchester-city-ticket-touts

So tickets are selling at £5000 (but that's actually the price for 2 tickets, and doesn't say if any have been sold). If I offered mine for £10000, it wouldn't mean that tickets were selling for that price (unless someone wants to offer me £10k for it!) Still shocking that chancers can go and try shit like that
