Stumbled across this forum by mistake and read through this. Absolutely terrible he's been missing for so long with potential sightings.

Signed the petition but it has a criminal lack of signatures.

Just saw the news on the Times about remains being found in a well.

God knows what his family must be going through on a day to day basis, but then when hearing news like this. Emotional turmoil.

Whatever the news, I hope it comes swiftly for them.

Hi @RAWKeditor can you post something on your forum to say @FindSteveCook has not been found in Greece and that a reporter for the Sun 1/2

.@RAWKeditor called his elderly, ill mother in middle of night and got quotes without saying who he was or that she was on record 2/2

@midjmo called Chris mum without saying who they worked for. Also claim Steve was in Crete in Istanbul final and called Chris. See my pics.

The Sun have harassed his mother without saying who they were and have broken the news of this body to her.

Well it seems that they found bones. But the police haven't contacted his mother, the Sun did.

They didn't tell her they were form the Sun.

Highly dubious at the moment, treat with caution I would suggest.

Just been announced that Police have confirmed the remains found do belong to Steve. Thoughts are with his family. The only consolation is that they may now find some closure and peace.

A sad ending, but at least there's closure and at least his body can come back home. RIP.
