Honestly surprised we've got him....thought he was United/Arsenal bound.

has pretty much everything you'd want in a full back in Brendans system, he'll get up and down the right for 90 min, has great pace to take advantage of those 2v1 situations and has good quality when he gets forward.

Defensively he's solid, his pace means he's tough to beat 1v1 and he seems to know where he's supposed to be should help Skrtel out on the right side of the defence.

Good enough to go straight into the first 11 which is what we need this transfer window.

Very good signing fro £12.5m

Remember watching a game between Southampton and Everyton with Coleman, Baines, Shaw and himself on the pitch. He was by far the best out of the 4 that day and deulofeu had to change sides because clyne was destroying him. he got much more joy against Shaw

Great signing. Will improve the defence greatly and free up Can to move to midfield. I'm liking this as much as the Firmino signing. We can do well next season, just need another top striker who can step in for Sturridge.

The squad is taking shape nicely now. I've not seen much of Clyne however from what I hear he is a very good player! And we got him at an excellent price which will keep the lads who think they pay the transfer fees and wages out of their own pockets happy!!!
