Museum Advert for United Fans
« on: June 30, 2015, 10:02:33 pm »
in 2005, the Liverpool Museum put an advert out saying something along the lines of:

Attention United Fans.  See the European Cup you won in 1999 now permanently on display at Anfield

Did anyone keep a copy that they can post or find it on the internet somewhere please?  I have been looking for hours.

Thanks
Andy

Can't find it either mate , probably best to get in touch with the Museum itself .

All I could find was this ...

Mr Alex Ferguson on Anfield after St Etienne 77 : "I didn't walk away from the ground after the game, I floated out. I had been caught up in the most exciting football atmosphere I have ever experienced...these Liverpool fans support with PASSION"

Put it away will you.

I've never seen that photo of them with the cup and I don't want to see it.

Small time.

Yeah I remember that photo, was quite funny. I've searched for it for a while but couldn't find it.

I very much doubt that LFC themselves would have put out such an advert.

Are you sure it wasn't just something that did the rounds on the internet, or maybe the 'advert' appeared in a fanzine?

That is brilliant banter. I can't believe I never saw this advert until now.
