Memorial flag at last nights game.
« on: October 23, 2008, 11:17:26 am »
Not sure were to post this Mods and move or delete if and when necessary.

A well known fella (  Rory Colquhoun ) sadly left us recently by being yet another victim of cancer. He was an Evertonian but was well known throughout our City by all. By all accounts he was a bit of lad back in his day and travelled many away game with Liverpool if the oppositions fans had a bit of a reputation.

http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=230665.0

I heared a rumour over the weekend that a few Liverpool lads were going to make a flag in honour of Rory. Anyhow, when I was watching the match last I could see a white flag with blue writing on it. It was hanging over at the front about four flags in from the goal. I have a feeling that it may have been the memorial flag.

If it was can any ( if they can be arsed and if it was a memorial flag ) try to get a zoom picture thing from Sky Sports as so can I can have a proper look.

Thanks in advance if you can .

Great touch there.

R.I.P.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

Alright Paul lad. You back in The Pool? I couldn't go to Madrid. Fucking crack house. But I'll be up for a game after bombie night, and before the Crimbo ruch. Probably Fulham

Great article by the Echo. And more proof, if needed, of how well the city pulls together in times of tragedy.
