that's where sakho would have been had he not taken himself out of the game earlier in the move ffs

skrtel has been briiliant so far this season but the agger and sakho fanboys don't want to see it.

sakho and agger make odd decision which impact the team and lead to other players getting the blame.

prime example last season was the aguerro equaliser past the on rushing pepe.
look at what agger did there and ask your self what he was thinking and if that was called for??

only a fanboy would tell you he did nothing wrong ffs

Someone had to step out of the line to contest the ball. And we all forgetting the horror show at the back against Southampton, most of which was Skrtel's fault? The guy's return to form has been vastly overrated and overstated. He's been solid, but I wouldn't say brilliant.

Can you put the 'fanboy' name-calling aside? Skrtel is good player, not brilliant. He's a solid defender who likes to sit deep with two banks of four and sweep up whatever comes through. He'd be great at teams like West Ham but his 'resurgence' here has been over-hyped beyond any reason and his position is safe only in so far as Rodgers continues with 3 at the back.

'Fanboy'

Reminds me of all the comments you see written by 12 year olds underneath a video trailer on youtube for a games console. How dare anybody actually support or like a player? If you do, you're just another stupid fanboy.

However jizzing over Spurs signings and Arsenals midfield is just 'realism'. Absolute bollocks the lot of it. The internet has turned society into brain dead, name calling morons. What makes it worse is that it's been around for about 70% of my lifetime, does that mean I'm also a brain dead moron and just haven't realised.

Gunna' Google this then look it up on boobtube.
It's hard enough remembering my opinions without remembering my reasons for them.

Decent player, decent start.

Reserve judgment on him till a few months. Like his attitude though, seems hungry to want to be a part of the team.

The internet just gives the morons a bigger voice. It's not turning society into morons, just gives them the platform to spread their shit really.

Regardless of whether it's Agger, Skrtel or Toure, I think either should be 2nd choice to Sakho. For years we have needed a centre back that can win the 1 v 1 battle through strength and speed, and Sakho is the best at that. It's a competition to partner him, in my opinion.

I really like him bit I do have concerns about his tendency to go to ground quite easily and also his speed on the turn. That being said, he looks like he has the potential to be a top signing, we just need to make sure we pair him with a quicker partner if we revert to a back four.

I think Sakho would make a very good DM, fast good tackle and passing ability, maybe work a try.

I think sakho would be more suited to a momo role rather than dm...for a dm you have to be able to scan the play and not drop concentration for 1 second.

problem is we don't have the luxury of those Europa games or carling cup games to try different things.

If we are to continue to play 3 at the back that we are playing now, I wouldn't mind trying Toure - Sakho - Agger to see how it pans out. Skertl has been ok this season, but the other 3 have a higher potential and I think better and more solid balance. Just my opinion and it might just be we are a fit Enrique away from reverting back to a flat back 4 anyway.

It was a tap in from 2/3yds out after a bit of a scramble in the box. Any which way will do though, well in Mamadou.
