Great news for the travelling fans!

Hopefully we can all keep campaigning to get a similar cap across the board (like that would ever happen, but the fan protests did this much!)

Enough like-minded 'insignificant' voices can together make so much noise that it's hard to ignore.
This applies to many things, in both football & life in general.

There is another side to this and clubs may reduce the away ticket allocations to maintain revenues.

Those Liverpool fans who walked out have unquestionably played a huge part in this. Hope all the naysayers who said walking out would do nothing and that there was no hope of anything ever changing enjoy their cheaper tickets in future.

Everyone's on about the walkout (and rightly so), but don't forget the Hull boycott. Quite a few on here were criticising our own fans for that, saying it wouldn't achieve anything.

Absolutely. Must admit, I was very sceptical about the walkout, but as I'm not a regular match-goer, I kept my gob shut and hoped for the best. This is a definite victory for everyone who has campaigned on ticket pricing and an inspiration to us all.

Remember it was SOS, Spion Kop, and the supporters committee who went to FSG with the idea tickets should be £30 when the new main stand is done.

Funny that the away tickets for the next three seasons will be....£30.

If they capped home matches, no other English clubs would have any competitive advantage, and we'd still be more competitive than Europe due to the TV money.

Great news, will save a fortune next season. Will the clubs still have that away ticket initiative money to share out like ours was used to knock a few quid off away tickets?

Oh, and I hope this somehow trickles down to the lower leagues too. Some of their ticket prices are crazy and this could possibly have a detrimental effect on their gates.

It's to replace the initiative money but Arsenal are going to carry on doing it, £26 for all their away matches. Haven't heard of anybody else doing it.
