He works  about as hard sturridge and benteke. The Problem was:

1:  when ever he had a decent match ( Spurs?) he got dropped strait away.
2. Rodgers slagged him off in the press from day one, and continued to do so.
3. Rodgers didn't have a clue how to utilise a target man and is committing the same problems with benteke currently i.e isolated as fuck.

He, along with Lambert had there worst seasons ever at liverpool, But hey lets just lay all the blame on the players.

Should just point out that after the Spurs game, Balotelli started the next 3. That may have been his best game for us, but he didn't score and did miss 2 or 3 easy goals. It looked like the team shape was good though with him and Sturridge together.

Don't think so - hasn't even been on the bench for the couple of games I've looked at.

I think he played a league cup game, though I'm not 100% sure on that.

Doesn't look like it.

I can't see that he's made the first team squad for any Villa game yet.

Yesil has just put Luzern 1-0 up against FC Zurich.

Luis Alberto just had another assist. Cute pass too.

Deportivo leading 3-0 vs Espanyol.

Balo played in Milan loss to Genoa.

Yesil has just put Luzern 1-0 up against FC Zurich.

He scoring quite a few. Might just create a chance for himself over there if its not working out here.

Luis Alberto got an assist for Deportivo La Coruna.

2 goals and 2 assists in 4 games this season in La Liga, I think.

cheers guys, disappointing to hear he hasn't played a league game yet but hopefully he gets a chance

pleased to hear Luis Alberto is doing well, hopefully he continues to impress so we can get a decent fee for him in the summer (Id give him another chance personally, but can't see it happening)

Somewhere like Deportivo is probably the best place for Luis Alberto, but no doubt we'll try our best to get as high a fee for him as possible. That's what we have to do, but it's a shame if he ends up a bit-part player somewhere when he needs to be playing regularly.

I don't think a fee was involved in any agreement. Maybe it was for his previous loan at Malaga?

What is his actual position though? He always seems to be placed wide on team sheets for his last three clubs but almost all of his best moves come from making Kaka like runs through the middle of the pitch.

Watch the first half of the Real away game last season  or the game against Sunderland and you'll realise what a dumb statement that is.    Good player shafted by the manager in my opinion.
Rossiter absolutely bossed it tonight. Really believe he'll end up playing more games this season than Lucas.

He played in the centre for Benfica a lot and they were generally his best performances from what I can tell. See the two games against Spurs in the Europa League for a taste of what he’s like through the centre.

And you just proved his point. Two games.

Unless he has had some industrial accident and has less than two fingers on his hand, then he can count the amount of good games he had.

I'm sure we'd all love Markovic to be this massive success for us, and there is many an argument that he never got a chance or didn't play in his preferred position (which is?) or didn't take a chance when given - but the fact is, he angled for the move supposedly - lets hope he comes back next season, full of confidence and makes an impact.

As pointed out by many, he wasn't that great for us - the fact you only highlighted two performances gives credence to this.

56' Sheyi Ojo cuts inside onto his right foot, he looks for goal and his shot deflects off Le Fondre, off the post and in. ALF's goal.

59' Ojo's goal this time. He cuts onto his left this time and fires low towards Lonergan who spills into the net. Wolves two up!
