"Jurgen Klopp will appoint Bayern Munich’s fitness coach Andreas Kornmayer to his Liverpool staff in the summer.
Liverpool’s pre-season will be crucial to Klopp’s hopes for next season & Kornmayer is set to play a lead role in preparations." - Paul Joyce, Express

"Having worked for Van Gaal, Jupp Heynckes & Guardiola Kornmayer has accepted Jürgen Klopp's offer to head the fitness team.
Kornmayer, who will arrive at Anfield in the summer, replaces Dr Ryland Morgans, who ended a 4- year stint at LFC last month. " - Andy Hunter, Guardian

Maybe with the change in management at the end of the season for Bayern, all staff might have been given a chance to seek different offers. Maybe Carlo wants own people. Just speculation though.

He'll be needed when we sign all ze Germans and they get injured

Has a good relationship with Gotze apparently according to Maddock. Probably guess work, but he reckons he puts his quick return from injury down to him.

It looks like this might be a promotion for him - he seems to be third in line in Bayern's fitness team at the moment, behind Holger Broich and Lorenzo Buenaventura.

We should have gone for Lorenzo - based purely on the name.  :)

He follows Pep from club to club.  I'd imagine he'll be moving to City in the summer with him.

I don't think Can's injury will be that bad, he was celebrating with the rest of the team in the corner after Lovren's goal.

You would imagine Stewart will play loads of league matches. Allen and Lucas have had their injury issues so they may very well be rested in some games to avoid risks.

Lucas Allen and Milner can do a job against Villarreal - he problem is you sort of have to play 3 because there isn't a 2 combination you'd fancy and then there isn't a player to sub in CM

Bad news that. Big pressure on Lucas and Allen with hendo and can out, they're playing for their Liverpool careers. We'll see.

Young Stewart could come of age here. I like what Ive seen so far.

I think with Emre done for the season, we need to start using the diamond more from now on rather than the 4-2-3-1. We all know that Lucas isn't the player we want playing in a 2 in midfield. He can't carry the ball at all so we need to have him with Allen and Milner either side and put more emphasis on having two strikers up top.

I'm happy for Emre that he probably won't miss the Euros though. Feel that'll be an important experience for him.

Our bad luck with injuries this season continues!!

Both Henderson and Can out for the season within a week of each other!!

We could have got by just losing Henderson I think but losing Can as well will make it very tough to win the cup now.

Lets hope Allen and Lucas can really step it up and more importantly stay fit!!!

Saw how he fell on replay and was hoping it was just a twisted ankle and not too long out.

In terms of our team, probably one of the worst players for this to happen to given the semi final is around the corner and Hendo is already out. Really has been a shit season for injuries

Gutted for the lad too, must be incredibly frustrating for him, hope the recovery is as swift as possible

Was injured but fit now. Simply can't get a look in, which could happen to even a decent striker.

For all the Skrtel haters..he is not frozen out by Klopp. He had a knock in training ruling him out according to slovak commentator.

Klopp started him against Stoke and was on bench against Bvb in front of Kolo so stop that shit

Not everyone is a Skrtel hater!!  Fans are bound to come to conclusions given Skrtels long injury,  then poor form,  and then not even in the squad with no reason given publically.  Personally I'm OK with Skrtel,  but I think Lovren is better than him at RCB.  Simple as really!
Rossiter absolutely bossed it tonight. Really believe he'll end up playing more games this season than Lucas.

Didn't notice it during the game with the crappy streams.

Does anyone know anything about it?
